Catch Up Version 2

A few more of the amazing wedding we've done this year...so far!

Rustic Elegance - I always love this theme, done in Navy Blue & Gray this time. Our rustic vintage shutters and accent pieces are the perfect pairing. Not much more to say than AWESOME!!!

Duncan - Church Gym

Another incredible transformation of a church gym! Loved this soft color pallet of Yellow & Gray, done in a Rustic Elegant theme.

Vintage Shutters & decor accents make for a fun Guest Book display!
Gorgeous Burlap draped backdrop!

Mason Jar arrangements done in Collection style.

Loved this Mason Jar specialty lighting we came up with. It looked amazing!

Back Yard Grooms Reception
I loved everything about how this job turned out. It was in a gorgeous back yard so it was a fun challenge figuring out how to light the space and stage each area. The colors were Pink Blush & Ivory...need I say more about how gorgeous it turned out!
My Vintage bike greeted guests and helped them find access to the reception.

We hung garland lights, mini lights and lit lanterns in the trees for a variety of ambient light. It looked awesome!!!

The flowers were so much fun to do in a mix of vintage Pink Depression glass and Crystal pieces on Silver tray and accent pieces. Is there anything more gorgeous that Pink blush garden roses!

Food display has become a big focal points again this year and we loved designing this setting. See why this wedding was a favorite!

I have lots more pictures to process and load but we have back to back weddings this week so it will have to wait! But seriously i'll try not to make it a whole year this time!

Catch Up...Seriously Pathetic!

It's pretty obvious from my lack of posts that I've had one crazy busy year! But in my line of work, that's a good thing! Still you would think I could find a little time here or there to post once in a while...seriously pathetic! So I'll do a series of catch up posts with some of the awesome weddings Bella Day Productions has had the pleasure of doing this past year....enjoy!

Hokanson (Lacamas Lake Lodge
What a fun challenge this wedding turned out to be! Take a Game Tech groom and an artistic, Fairy Tale, forest loving bride and this amazingly creative theme was born. Call it Gamer Wedding meets Forest Elegance, a reflection of their fun personalities! This gorgeous fireplace was the backdrop for the ceremony. The pictures just don't do it justice!

The bride's request for the centerpieces was that they would reflect both the Bride and Groom; forest elements with game icons, a unique combo for sure. I wasn't sure I could pull this off, but they truly loved how it turned out! This was the first and only wedding I've ever done where the Groomsmen ran around and took photos of each of the centerpieces! Ha...take that!

The theme ran throughout the wedding with fun chalk banners used to add catchy Gamer references like this "Power Up" banner pinned to the backdrop behind the buffet. We used Rustic Crates mixed with elegant lace & satin clothes creating a stunning setting for the food.

The Head Table with Player 1 & Player 2 banner! (random guy in the background who ruined my shot).

Colors were Forest Green, Turquoise with Orange accents. What a fun and gorgeous wedding!

Molina (Scholls Valley Lodge)
This was a gorgeous wedding too! I guess I say that allot! The colors were Blush Pink and Gold with lots of Baby Breath! The rustic elegance of the lodge was the perfect background for this beautiful pallet. How cute are these Bride and Groom cookie favors!

Another totally yummy fireplace mantel! I've decorated this mantel many times and this was one of my favorites. Love the combo of floral, photos and candles!

Seriously gorgeous roses! And if you are going to do Baby Breath....go big or go home! My floral designers know I'm not a huge fan of working with Baby Breath, but holy molly it's growing on me in a big way.

Heywood - (LDS Church Gym)
We've done allot of weddings in church gyms. You could say we've become experts at transforming the space so it no longer looks like a gym. It's a big job, but such a fun challenge. This wedding theme and color pallet was classy, traditional and turned out stunning! When you start with a big empty cavernous room, you have to pick decor elements that fill the space with a balance of focal points, accents and negative space. Give your guests just enough to draw their eye without crossing that line of filling every empty space with something. This gym (Stake Center) was huge, so there was a lot of filling to do. But I think we hit the balance just right.

I am in love with this Red, Black and White pallet which some might think too simple. But it's the simplicity, the understatement of elements together that make it gorgeous and as elegant as any theme or combo of colors. The pops of red color through out the room was to die for!

Youth Fundraising Dinner Church Gym Decor

This was a church fundraising event we did the decor and floral for! We tried to keep it fairly simple and we were amazed and how beautiful the church gym turned out. Take a peek!

Our Grand Entrance
Simple but very effective room decor makes the gym look like an upscale venue!

Elegant Table Linens in Wisteria purple

This was a fun flower job! I love all the gorgeous colors and variety of flowers available in the spring! These were cake plate arrangements.

A White Hydrangea arrangement is gorgeous!

Beautiful Barn Wedding

Life gets busy, busy, busy...especially when you are in the Wedding and Design industry! But I love doing what I do. I really should hire someone else to keep up with this blog, but somehow I always think it will just take a few minute. Today it took more than a few minutes just to remember my log in info! Crazy how time gets away from us and my memory seems to be running right along side of it! So I'll cut to the chance and post one of my recent weddings.

I've done lots of barn weddings, but this barn was truly amazing! It was at an Alpaca Farm in Helvatia OR and truly a site to behold!
I swear it would survive a category 5 hurricane! A massive two+ story with 16 feet high beams and cross bars made for an amazing backdrop to the globe light ceiling.
White curtains greeted the guests and they entered the barn to view over sized black & white prints of the bride and groom....stunning!
We kept the table decor pretty simple with white linens, burlap runners and simple arrangements in vintage blue mason jars but added the elegance with vintage mirror plateau's and surrounded them with a multitude of candles.

I  and did the food display with a base of vintage crates and growers boxes vintage blue glass containers and candles.

Just the perfect balance of elegance and rustic don't you think! But this little guy was the icing on the cake! He kept peeking through the door during our set up to check on our progress! So cute!

Gorgeous Milk Glass Wedding

Milk Glass is one of my favorite styles of vintage glassware. You could say it has become a fetish! My hutch is full of it and I love using in for weddings! I thought this wedding turned out just gorgeous done in soft or blush versions of Peach and Yellow.

Love this little handled basket!

I love the variety and shapes available!

Just had to show how we finished the decor for this wedding. It's amazing how you can transform a gym to look like an elegant venue! I just love that challenge!

Big over sized flowers add a focal point and a dedicated place for the bridal party to greet guests.

Totally yummy and the deserts look fantastic too!

Totally Dreamy Bouquet!
